How it works

  1. 1

    Add your clips

Load multiple videos into the editor media panel, all local, no upload.

  2. 2

    Ask to merge

Reference clips by name: “stitch @clip-2 onto the end.” Supercut joins them on-device.

  3. 3

    Export the merged file

Preview the combined timeline and download. Merging ran in your browser.

Tips

  • Clips at different sizes are scaled to match before joining.
  • Order matters, arrange intro, body, then outro.
  • Trim each clip before combining for a tighter cut.

Why it stays private

Supercut decodes, edits and exports your video entirely in your browser with WebAssembly. Your video files never leave your device. To plan the edit, the AI gets your request, the words said in your clip and its sound levels (both worked out on your device), and a few low-resolution frames only if you turn that on. Frequently asked questions

Can clips have different resolutions?

Yes. Supercut scales and pads clips to a consistent frame before joining.

Do merged videos upload?

No. Concatenation runs locally with WebAssembly, files stay on your device.

How many clips can I combine?

Add as many as your browser memory allows. Most workflows combine 2-5 clips at a time.
